About this event

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: MIDTOWN 64 HARD HATS TOUR WITH EDC & HARKINS BUILDERS

Thursday, November 19, 2026 | 4:00PM – 6:00PM

Join the Young Professionals as we get an inside look at Midtown 64: a 46-acre, $500+ million mixed-use development at the intersection of West Broad Steet and Interstate 64. The redevelopment of the former Genworth campus will transform the site into a new destination featuring retail, restaurants and entertainment, nearly 1,000 residential units, and a 226 room dual branded hotel.

What makes this tour especially unique is the opportunity to hear from both EDC and Harkins Builders , two general contractors involved in the development. Each general contractor will talk to their portion of the development and share the logistics behind this large-scale project.

PPE Required: All attendees must wear a hard hat, safety vest. PPE will be available, while supplies last for those that need it. Please dress for outdoor conditions; the tour will primarily take place outside.

Following the tour, guests are welcome to join us for a casual networking opportunity at The Answer Brewpub down the street.
