Presentation: Protecting Your Peace During the Holidays: Navigating, Stress, Grief, Loneliness & Expectations

Overview:

The Holiday Season is often associated with JOY, Connection, and CELEBRATION - But it can bring increased stress, loneliness, grief, family tension, caregiving demands and unrealistic expectations.

This interactive presentation will explore practical ways to navigate the emotional pressures of the holiday season without losing yourself in the process. Participants will learn how to recognize emotional overwhelm, se realistic expectations and health boundaries, cope with grief and loneliness, and remain PRESENT during a season that can easily become focused on obligations and what is "supposed" to happen!

Rather than forcing positivity, participants will explore ways to make more room for difficult emotions while intentionally creating meaningful moments of connection, rest, gratitude and joy! Attendees will leave with practical strategies they can begin using immediately for themselves and with those they support.

Partner's Breakfasts are held the 1st Friday of the month from 8:30 – 10:00AM. There is no charge for Partner's members Seniors or Guests! . All attendees are eligible for a Certificate of Attendance Form good for 1 hour of education. RSVP is required for this the meeting.
