About this event

The Culture Is Couture Expo returns to Richmond Nov. 8, 2026, for a celebration of Black influence across fashion, beauty, art, music, entrepreneurship and culture.

Presented by Mostly Sugar Foundation, the 2026 experience, themed “Then. Now. Next.,” brings together designers, beauty professionals, artists, creators, entrepreneurs and cultural voices for a weekend of experiences across Richmond.

On Sunday, Nov. 8, The Culture Is Couture Expo takes over the historic Main Street Station Shed in downtown Richmond. Guests can experience fashion and hair showcases, live performances, DJ sets, panel conversations, interactive Learning Labs, an art exhibition, shopping with small businesses and artisans, creator experiences, beauty activations, food and more.

The Culture Is Couture explores the people, ideas and creative movements that have shaped Black culture, celebrates those influencing it today and creates space for what comes next.

Whether you’re traveling for fashion, beauty, art, music or simply looking for a new cultural experience in Virginia, The Culture Is Couture offers a weekend to experience Richmond through creativity, community and culture.
