People nearly filled the State Corporation Commission's hearing room, with an overflow room open, to speak on 's proposed merger with Dominion. Anger over data centers and rising power bills met arguments that the deal would boost the economy, and WRIC says supporters and opponents spoke in roughly equal numbers.
